The purpose of the Animal Welfare Bazaar is to help relieve the suffering of animals throughout the world.

The aim is also to encourage the recognition that animals, (like human beings), should be treated with compassion and respect.
There are usually over 30 groups/societies participating in the bazaar, representing a variety of local, national and international animal welfare causes.  The stalls offer a variety of goods for sale, some new and some second hand.  This helps to raise funds for their work. Leaflets and information on the animal welfare work undertaken by the stallholders is available.

Vegetarian and vegan refreshments are available throughout the day... so why not pop in for lunch.
Entrance is free.

Local dignitaries, the Mayor of Ealing, local Members of Parliament and our local MEPs are also invited to attend the bazaar to view the work of the stallholders and to discuss animal welfare issues.

The Ealing Animal Welfare Bazaar was started in May 1978 and since then has been an annual event, usually held on the first Saturday in March, at Ealing Town Hall.  Originally it was called the Ecology and Animal Welfare Bazaar.
